What You’ll Be Doing: Run the Kitchen: Take the reins in the kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly, from prep to plating. You’ll be the go-to person for all things food-related. Lead by Example: Inspire and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring they’re motivated, well-trained, and delivering consistently high standards. Maintain Quality: Ensure every dish that leaves the kitchen meets GBK’s high standards for taste, presentation, and quality. You’ll be the guardian of our famous burgers Manage Stock & Orders: Keep the kitchen stocked with the freshest ingredients, manage orders, and ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality. Ensure Safety & Cleanliness: Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety, making sure everything is spick and span and in line with health regulations. Support the Team: Work alongside the General Manager to lead and inspire the team, ensuring top-notch service and that every customer leaves satisfied. Keep the Burgers Rolling: Help oversee daily operations, from making sure our kitchen runs smoothly to keeping the atmosphere lively and welcoming. Drive the Business: Assist in implementing strategies to boost sales, manage costs, and keep GBK the go-to spot for burger lovers. Customer Experience: Play a key role in ensuring our guests have a brilliant time, from the moment they walk in to the last bite of their burger. Step Up When Needed: Be ready to take charge in the General Manager’s absence, showing your leadership skills and keeping everything on track. Contribute to the Vibe: Help create a fun, relaxed environment where customers and staff alike enjoy their time. What You Bring: Experience: You’ve got some experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally in the hospitality industry and proven experience in a kitchen management or head chef role Leadership Potential: You’re a natural leader, ready to support and motivate your team while learning from the best. People Skills: You’re great with people, whether it’s helping customers or supporting your colleagues. Business Know-How: You understand the basics of running a successful business and are eager to develop these skills further.
