We are now looking for a HR Generalist to join our team. Working within our People & Culture team based in Marlow, this role will involve some travel across the UK.
The role
At Tradebe, we have a clear People-led strategy aiming to position Tradebe as the number one employer within our industry.
As an HR Generalist, your role will focus on providing a comprehensive and customer-focused service for all first-line employee relations and generalist duties. Acting as the first point of contact for managers across our Industrial, Healthcare, and Scotoil divisions, you will cover all activities within the employee lifecycle, including processes such as disciplinary, grievance, appeals, performance management, paternity/maternity queries, flexible working requests, and absence management.
Operational Support
1. Provide clear policy advice and guidance to managers.
2. Support managers in all employee relations activities, advising on policy and process across the whole spectrum of the employee lifecycle.
3. Act as the point of contact for manager queries.
4. Report current and topical people metrics (e.g., retention rates, recruitment, exit interviews), highlighting trends and themes as appropriate.
5. Support and advise on contractual and company correspondence.
6. Provide support, advice, guidance, and training to managers.
7. Review and update policy/templates as required.
8. Support the P&C team in the implementation of the Global People & Culture Strategy.
Projects and BAU
1. Contribute to P&C project plans by supporting the P&C Business Partners and wider team.
2. Provide an efficient internal service by adhering to pre-set service standards/SLA's.
3. Be the frontline operational day-to-day service provider to ensure a responsive, commercially focused ER service for Divisions, providing advice, case management, and support; ensuring documents and files are maintained for policy or tribunal requirements.
4. Responsible for the integrity of People & Culture Data within our database and supporting systems.
5. Maintain organisational structures.
6. Support the continuous improvement of the company's processes and procedures to ensure the company is legally compliant and champions best practice.

The person
In order to be successful in this role, it would be helpful if you had the following experience:
1. Solid experience in a HR advisor/generalist/officer role.
2. Minimum CIPD Level 5 and/or HR qualification equivalent or the right level of experience.
3. Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills.
4. Excellent organizational & time management skills with the ability to manage the varying skills of site managers & supervisors.
5. Able to forge strong working relationships with stakeholders of all levels across multiple sites and have a high level of patience and understanding.
6. Able to work autonomously but also as part of a team.
7. High level of IT confidence, including intermediate Excel skills.
8. Pro-active approach to problem-solving.
9. Full clean driving license and the ability to travel nationwide on a regular basis.
Desirable:
1. Experience working with cloud-based P&C and Payroll Database systems.
2. SAP experience.
