Role Overview:
The role of the Component Sales Executive will be to drive continued sales growth through both our existing client base and new routes to market. Working as part of ETL’s Components Team, the Sales Executive’s day-to-day duties will include acting as the company's point of contact for all customers within their assigned sales region, responding to technical tenders, providing customer support for general product enquiries, attending global industry trade shows, and maintaining excellent customer relationships via both phone/email and in-person meetings.
Their main responsibility is to ensure the continued commercial success of ETL group's RF component product lines. This will involve a thorough knowledge of the ETL range of component products in order to offer these to customers.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate would be a highly self-motivated individual with a proven track record in either sales, engineering, or an applicable field of science who wants to develop a career in international sales. They would be driven to understand the applications of Radio Frequency equipment and quickly acquire the technical knowledge to provide advice and support to customers. Already in their skill set would be the ability to provide excellent service to all ETL’s customer base and the ability to work with departments across the company (sales, engineering, test, production, etc.) to ensure that both quotes and orders are delivered on time and fully compliant.
The candidate would have strong interpersonal and communication skills enabling them to work closely with ETL’s global sales team and discuss complex technical problems with a range of customers whose first language may not be English.
Key Accountabilities:
1. To deliver personal financial targets, defined by experience, in line with the component’s sales plan.
2. Managing international accounts to ensure new business enquiries are dealt with accurately, quickly, and in a professional manner through the provision of excellent customer service.
3. Responsibility for identifying new routes to market and converting these into orders, in view of driving sales growth.
4. To liaise with the marketing team to offer support and content for targeted marketing campaigns, ensure that demo and loan products are delivered on time, and support the creation of specifications & content for datasheets, marketing, and presentation materials.
5. To deliver best practice in project management in conjunction with design, production, and test to ensure product delivery is fully compliant and on-time.
6. To deliver financial measures in line with the component’s sales plan, with regular reporting of personal targets and activity to both the Components Sales Manager and at the ETL sales pipelines.
