Sitting within our Technical Solutions function and reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Market Engagement, the Sales Executive will generate new business opportunities and deliver sales growth by approaching new and existing clients over the phone, for one of our B2B products. The ideal candidate will have a keen ambition to learn, develop, hit targets and progress.
This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate must be able to be based in our Central Norwich office location 2 days per week.
You will be responsible for:
* Proactive targeted outreach to prospects to build a solid pipeline mainly sourced from warm leads, via phone.
* Develop qualified leads and move to conversion.
* Offer initial solution overview and help identify customer goals/challenges in which our B2B data driven products will help them overcome.
* Proactively engage with prospects and follow up with clients to meet their needs.
* Qualify and follow up on new business sales opportunities, following the agreed sales process and methodology, delivering a high standard of engagement to potential customers.
* Oversee the engagement of subject matter experts to ensure that the customer understands the specific value proposition and business benefits of the wider range of products and services.
* Maintain documentation of agreements, opportunities, and wider conversations.
* Generate excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to the achievement of business strategy and goals.
Your experience:
* Demonstrable, proven experience in a sales role, preferably telesales – you must not be afraid of picking up the phone.
* Previous experience speaking to clients to identify their current business challenges, preferably in a highly regulated industry (but any telesales background will be considered).
* Target driven background with demonstrable experience of working to, and exceeding sales targets.
* Track record of success demonstrating a passion for prospecting, goal setting and getting tasks completed, with a view of taking on more.
* Furthermore, you will need to be proactive, resilient, curious, a natural problem solver, great communicator, ambitious and overall, show a thirst for ongoing personal development.
