My client is urgently looking for a Sales Executive with strong inbound and outbound experience. This role is to meet or exceed the monthly sales targets by proactively promoting the company’s products and solutions, and building strong customer relationships to maximize the portfolio and lifetime value to the customer.
The focus market is both existing and new business across all market sectors: Commercial, Corporate, and Public Sector. The role will ensure all existing and new sales opportunities utilize the entire portfolio of annuity or subscription services, hardware, software, and professional services.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
1. Responsible for the sales process from contact through to close.
2. Ownership and account management of existing customers, maximizing additional growth.
3. Proactive sales of selected Content Services, ICT, and MPS Products & Solutions.
4. Identify decision makers within target customers and prospects.
5. Utilize a full range of resource tools including but not limited to Bus Gen Support, marketing, and social media platforms.
6. Manage time to achieve key performance indicators.
7. Complete presales tickets via Salesforce.com (e.g., Documents Solutions quotes - Papercut & MYQ).
8. Direct responsibility for all Business Solutions renewals below £20K threshold.
9. Develop day-to-day relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
10. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
11. Maintain a good relationship with Technical Services Staff to specify customer requirements correctly.
12. Work closely with SOP staff to ensure the correct level of detail is provided, ensuring purchase ordering and invoicing is not delayed.
Experience & Skills:
1. Good written and verbal communication skills.
2. Ability to exceed targets through a structured approach and pipeline management.
3. Maintain efficient diary and time management.
4. Demonstrable previous experience within a sales role is essential; prior knowledge of our industry would be advantageous.
5. Fully understand leasing and deal construction.
6. Results-oriented, driven to succeed, achieve, and exceed targets.
7. Experience using relationship management tools (Salesforce) and competent in using all MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
8. Proven negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
9. Comfortable in cross-selling and able to use initiative to offer alternative solutions to potential customers.
10. Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
