Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruitment Manager to lead our fast-paced, high-volume recruitment function across three key sites: Southend, Romford, and Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop a small, dedicated team of recruiters while driving improvements in candidate experience, employer branding, and recruitment processes.
As Recruitment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and hiring the best talent, ensuring a seamless and engaging recruitment journey, and supporting the company's strategic objectives through innovative talent acquisition initiatives. You will also be hands-on in sourcing and headhunting high-quality candidates for business-critical roles.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy & Delivery
1. Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all three sites, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
2. Lead and coach a small team of recruiters to achieve hiring goals and provide an outstanding candidate experience.
3. Partner with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand resourcing needs, providing expert advice on talent attraction strategies.
4. Actively support the direct resourcing and headhunting of top talent for key and hard-to-fill roles.
5. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, including proactive sourcing and talent pooling.
6. Manage workforce planning activities in line with business priorities and future growth.
Employer Branding & EVP
1. Drive the employer branding strategy to attract top talent and promote AllClear and InsureandGo as an employer of choice.
2. Develop and implement campaigns to enhance the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), working in partnership with Marketing and Communications teams.
3. Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to build awareness and strengthen the talent pipeline.
Process Improvement & Compliance
1. Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
2. Implement effective selection and assessment methods, ensuring a fair and objective recruitment process.
3. Oversee the use and optimisation of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and maximising functionality.
Reporting & Metrics
1. Track and report key recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, etc.), using data to drive improvements and inform decision-making.
2. Benchmark recruitment activities against market trends to ensure competitiveness and relevance.
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as a Recruitment Manager or Senior Recruiter in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (ideally across multiple sites).
2. Strong resourcing and headhunting skills, with the ability to source passive candidates and attract top talent for hard-to-fill roles.
3. Leadership and team management skills, with experience coaching and developing recruiters.
4. Excellent understanding of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and selection methodologies.
5. Demonstrated ability to build and execute employer branding strategies and EVP initiatives.
6. Proven track record of improving recruitment processes, tools, and systems to deliver efficiencies.
7. Confident stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
8. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret recruitment metrics and benchmarking data.
9. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); knowledge of Pinpoint is a plus.
10. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
