Our client based in Tockwith is recruiting for a Sales Executive. You will play a pivotal role in expanding their market presence, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with key clients. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to get into a sales professional role or if you have a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within technology. Training will be provided.
The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am and 5pm and in return the salary is from £23k- £25k with OTE £35k.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Conduct in-depth needs analysis and present tailored solutions to meet the specific requirements of each client.
5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
6. Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring profitable outcomes for both the company and the client.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
8. Collaborate with the marketing and service teams to optimise sales strategies and enhance customer experience.
9. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales team members, contributing to their professional development.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role, preferably in the photocopier, printing, or office technology sectors.
2. Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
4. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
5. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
6. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
