Job Description Baxterstorey is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Babraham. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintain our high standards of culinary excellence. Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management Oversee daily kitchen operations, including staff supervision and scheduling Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Maintain quality control and consistency in food preparation and presentation Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs Train and mentor junior kitchen staff Step in for the Head Chef when necessary Contribute creative ideas for new dishes and menu improvements Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service
