Step Teachers are collaborating with a vibrant Secondary School located just outside of Launceston to fill an exciting opportunity for a Drama Teacher. This role, which is a Full-Time role for 1 academic term, is set to commence in January 2025. It offers a fantastic opportunity for passionate educators to inspire and nurture a love for drama and the performing arts.
Drama Teacher - Role:
* Willing to take a well-established and successful drama department to the next level.
* Strong knowledge of the drama curriculum.
* Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
* Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
* Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
* Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
* Compliance with the school’s policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Drama Teacher - Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
* Demonstrated experience as a Drama Teacher at secondary level.
£30000 - £55000 per year PAYE - based on experience
