Job Description
Provence Food Company Limited, trading as Cafe Provence, is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high culinary standards, and maintaining consistency in food preparation and presentation. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage kitchen staff, monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, the Sous Chef will contribute to menu development, bringing creativity and innovation to our dishes.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of full-time experience in a similar role, a solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.
