Your focus as Junior Sous Chef
will be assisting the Senior
Kitchen management team in the running of the main Perch Inn restaurant kitchen,
working closely with our Executive & Head Chef to ensure the delivery of a
superb farmhouse style menu and to maintain the high standards currently in
place.
Key Responsibilities
1. To run the main Perch kitchen in the absence of the Exec. and Head Chef.
2. Assist in maintaining a five-star food hygiene rating.
3. Recognise the importance of wage percentage targets.
4. Input in new menu planning.
5. Responsibility for stock & ordering.
6. Leading & inspiring a team of junior chefs & kitchen assistants.

Requirements
1. Proven record of delivering freshly prepared food to a high standard.
2. Motivated & focused, with a can-do approach.
3. Able to work un-supervised & in possession of strong man-management skills.
