What You’ll Be Doing as Talent Acquisition Manager
* Talent Sourcing (30%): Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand and anticipate hiring needs, build sourcing strategies, and scout talent who will be additive to our skills and culture.
* End-to-End Hiring Process (40%): Build a world-class candidate experience and manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle. Analyse talent metrics to find scalable improvements in how we recruit the top tech and commercial talent across Scotland and the UK.
* Branding & EVP (10%): Identify and own opportunities to build our presence in the market and position life at iOpt. This will include events, partnerships, accreditations, and marketing content.
* Onboarding (10%): Partner with our team leads and CEO to drive a personal and authentic onboarding experience, focusing on building confidence, role clarity, and a sense of belonging.
* HR Support (10%) Support on People team initiatives.
To date, most of our hiring has been through referrals or recruitment agencies. We have budget allocated to build the right talent tech stack (which we hope you can provide a steer on!).
Skills & Experience requirements
* Demonstrable experience and success operating as an in-house talent partner in a growth-stage scale-up environment.
* Full-stack expertise: You are capable of sourcing and hiring both technical and commercial roles, including people leadership roles.
* You care deeply about the candidate experience: Job searching is stressful and challenging. It is our role to craft a candidate-first experience that is authentic and kind. This means a transparent recruitment process, ensuring we respond to all applicants, even when we don’t have good news, and providing feedback to those who have invested time interviewing with us.
* A natural relationship-builder: You’ll be partnering with hiring managers, candidates, and industry partners.
* The ability to support People projects.
* Flawless written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence people at all levels.
* An eye for scalable and efficient solutions: From our ATS to our sourcing tools and talent metrics, you’ll be passionate about building infrastructure that automates repetitive work and scales as our hiring volume increases.
