Through engagement, the Technology Lead will work closely with control owners to ensure risk control test plans are clearly documented and actions from weaknesses are followed up whilst supporting the IT Controls Testing Manager and the Technology Controls Consultant.
If you are a passionate Technology Lead with a keen interest in IT controls and financial services, we would love to hear from you!

* Creating and providing training and guidance materials to control owners and the technology community.
Who are we looking for?
* Someone with experience providing proactive controls advice, working as a 'controls business partner' to Technology and other teams who may be involved in IT controls.
* A self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritise workload and complete activities to a tight deadline.
* Awareness and curiosity about automation techniques that could be used to strengthen controls frameworks and make testing more efficient.
* A quick learner who can develop an understanding of SJP's Technology landscape and IT controls.
* Ability to adapt to different situations, for example when communicating with different stakeholders including control owners and operators, Technology Leadership Team, and Risk and Finance Teams.
What's in it for you?
* Private medical paid for by the company.
* Meaningful protection benefits with real value, such as 10X life cover, PHI, and critical illness.
* Non-Contributory Pension – 10% (increasing with length of service up to 15%) with further pension matching.
* Parental leave – 6 months full pay.
* 28 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays (based on full-time equivalent) with the option to buy up to an additional 5 days holiday.
*Not applicable to Fixed-Term Contracts (standard uplift applies in lieu of the protection benefits)
