Are you passionate about Training within a manufacturing environment? A great opportunity has arisen for an Operations Training Coordinator to join a Manufacturer based in the Thirsk area. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary.
As Operations Training Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Develop training aids/manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Health & Safety and Quality Compliance.
2. Work with Site/Shift Managers and Supervisors to ensure employees receive the required training.
3. Track, monitor, and report on training outcomes.
4. Coordinate and deliver employee inductions.
5. Organise internal and external training events and participant schedules.
6. Evaluate training materials and suggest improvements for effectiveness.
7. Support HR in training employees on company policies and procedures.
The successful Operations Training Coordinator will have:
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar training role.
2. Experience in a production environment within a production line.
3. Experience from the food manufacturing sector would be an advantage.
4. IOSH qualification (or working towards).
This role offers a competitive salary of £30,000-£32,000 DOE and working hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (40 hours), with one week in three having a late start/finish.
