Are you a dynamic and strategic Learning & Development professional ready to drive excellence within a thriving college group? We're seeking a passionate Group Learning and Development Manager to join our HR team and play a pivotal role in developing our people and enhancing our organisational capabilities.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Group Director of HR, you will lead the implementation and enhancement of our Group’s Learning & Development framework, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our People Strategy. Collaborating closely with Quality Teams, you will deliver high-quality, customer-focused learning solutions that drive organisational improvement. You will also foster a culture of active engagement across our college community, contributing to key college events and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Learning Implementation: Drive the Group's Learning & Development framework, aligning with the People Strategy.
• Learning Platform Management: Oversee and optimize Learning Management (IHASCO) and Skills Building (BKSB) platforms.
• Training Delivery & Development: Facilitate inductions and develop innovative training programs.
• Needs Analysis & Resource Development: Proactively identify training needs and develop relevant resources.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure the quality of learning provision and manage administrative processes related to training.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Build strong relationships, gather feedback, and produce insightful reports on L&D activity.
• Budget & Team Support: Support budget management and delegate tasks within the HR team.
About You:
• Proven experience in a Learning & Development role, ideally within a multi-site or educational environment.
• Level 5 qualification in Learning & Development (or willingness to work towards).
• Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems and Skills Building Platforms.
• You are a strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
• Highly organised and possess excellent administrative skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions.
• Sound understanding of training budget management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
