We are looking for a Rooftop Restaurant Supervisor to assist and support the Restaurant Managers in the efficient running of the Rooftop restaurant, and to assist with the delivery of hospitality and events in the Rooftop Restaurant.
Reporting to Restaurant Manager key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):
* To work collaboratively with the Managers to efficiently deliver a quality offer of all food and drink service in the Rooftop restaurant, both in and outside of performance times and in line with audience development objectives.
* To help train and develop staff to deliver customer service in line with RSC agreed standards and manage the day-to-day operation and any personnel issues arising.
* To assist with the daily staff briefings to cover any operational news, daily menu, offer or service changes and for information sharing. To also share any customer feedback with the catering manager.
* To ensure catering staff adhere to RSC standards of appearance in line with the uniform policy.
* To be able to run a section in the Rooftop restaurant and cocktail bar to ensure competence.
* To ensure consistency of service standards.
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:
* An exceptional understanding of customer service.
* Good leadership skills and the ability to drive a busy team in a varied, high-volume environment.
* Meticulous attention to detail to ensure consistent standards across the offer.
* Understanding of relevant H&S legislation.
* A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Stratford upon Avon. You will be working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends.
