Your new role
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, including ETL processes and data models. You will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work independently, and have a passion for solvingplex problems.
1. Design, develop, and maintain our data infrastructure, including ETL processes and data models.
2. Work with the Microsoft stack (SSIS & SQL), Data Bricks, Data factory / Azure Dev/Ops, and Reporting service / report builder.
3. Create and maintain documentation of data architecture, data flows, and data models.
4. Collaborate with our data analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Strong skills in the Microsoft stack (SSIS & SQL), Data Bricks, Data factory / Azure Dev/Ops, and Reporting service / report builder.
7. Experience with data modelling.
8. Any experience in Cognos is a bonus.
9. Strong problem-solving skills.
10. Excellentmunication and collaboration skills.
What you'll get in return
A contract role lasting three months initially with the potential for extension beyond that. The role is paying up to £450 per day, is outside IR35 and based in Milton Keynes with hybrid working on offer.
