The Vacancy
Wates Group are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join the team, being the first point of contact for the Wates business for IT incidents and requests. This would be through phone calls and emails where you will be responsible for attempting to resolve the issue in the first instance.
ABOUT THE ROLE
To be successful in the role you will already hold an ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate and impressive knowledge of Microsoft products and AD. You should also be able to demonstrate an ability to learn new products and have worked in a similar role.
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will:
1. Be logical and methodical in your fault finding.
2. Identify and escalate high priority incidents with third parties to restore service and deliver requests.
3. Exhibit excellent written and verbal skills.
4. Lead role in managing suppliers and ensuring that we get the best value and performance with them.
5. Ability to listen, question and explain non-technical information so it is understood.
