About the role
A junior sales role targeting single site and small group repairers.
Key responsibilities
* Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold calls and timely lead follow-ups
* Communicating with prospects to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
* Answering prospects questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails
* Undertaking online demos of Onyx BMS
* Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of Onyx BMS products
* Maintaining and improving prospect details in Pipedrive
* Researching background details on new leads
* Keeping up to date with Onyx BMS product and new functions/features
* Be knowledgeable about Onyx's direct competitor offers
Skills and experience
* Articulate, good communication and interpersonal skills
* Personable-pleasant and chatty on the phone (not aggressive or pushy)
* Comfortably conversing with strangers
* Self-motivated/have a can do attitude
* Persistent-selling can involve lots of unexpected steps
* Resilient-there is often a lot of ‘No's'
* Adaptable and able to think quickly ‘on your feet' during prospect interactions
* Comfortable with the type of change working in a start-up company entails
Desirable Skills:
* Understanding of repair industry
* Eager to learn (if no repair industry experience)
