We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive with a proven track record in vape wholesaling, FMCG distribution, and customer acquisition. This role focuses on identifying and growing sales channels, including cash and carry wholesalers, online stores, and large white channel retailers like Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and onboard cash and carry wholesalers specializing in vape distribution in the UK and Ireland.
2. Develop relationships with online stores and ensure strong sales performance in the digital channel.
3. Pursue partnerships with white channel retailers (e.g., Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda) to expand the company’s market reach.
4. Secure accounts with FMCG distributors and wholesalers for long-term business relationships.
5. Conduct in-depth market research to identify key players and potential sales opportunities in the vape and FMCG sectors.
6. Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to each channel to maximize revenue growth.
7. Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product and pricing strategies.
Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
2. Act as the main point of contact for high-value accounts and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
3. Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and customer interactions in the company CRM system.
4. Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with sales strategies.
Travel & Networking:
1. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to promote the company and secure new leads.
2. Travel across the UK and Ireland to meet with clients and prospects as required.
Required Experience & Skills:
1. Vape Industry Expertise:
2. Proven experience in vape wholesaling, including knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
3. Established connections with vape wholesalers, retailers, and distributors.
4. Strong understanding of FMCG wholesale and online channels.
5. Experience working with big white channels like Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, and similar retailers.
6. Demonstrated ability to acquire new customers and close high-value deals.
7. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and terms.
8. Tech Savvy:
9. Proficiency in CRM tools, online sales platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to analyze data to drive decision-making.
11. Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for sales.
12. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
13. Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload effectively.
14. Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel.
