We are currently recruiting for a funeral planning sales advisor who will work cooperatively with customers on their funeral planning needs & arrangements. The role will take a proactive approach to direct sales, engaging with prospective & potential customers by utilising marketing arrangements & up-selling additional services when appropriate. With the sensitive nature of the following, the role will be targeted on outreaching to customers. Client Details The client we are working with are a national company that provides funeral planning arrangements to a wide range of national clients within their larger insurance group. The business has multiple service branches & hosts to a large number of valued customers who they strive to service with the utmost quality. Description Key responsibilities will consist of: Respond to inbound calls from potential customers, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and circumstances. Proactively contact potential and existing customers to introduce our services, generate interest, and create opportunities for the Sales & Retention team. Manage customer inquiries across multiple channels, including telephone and email. Address and resolve customer concerns by researching solutions, exploring available options, and providing clear, helpful information. Handle pre-need email and voicemail inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Collaborate with our Customer Experience Center to support vulnerable customers, following Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and vulnerability principles. Stay informed about Dignity's products, services, and procedures by attending regular training sessions and briefings. Adhere to company policies and industry regulations to ensure compliance in all customer interactions. Profile The successful candidate will: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Experience in funeral sales or client sales-based positions prior. A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Confidence in presenting insurance products to potential clients. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline.
