Data Engineer We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Data, Intelligence, and Insight Team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building the Council's end-to-end Data Warehouse, supporting teams in delivering integrated data analysis and intelligence. This will empower the Council to make informed decisions based on a robust evidence base and a single version of the truth. About the role: As a Data Engineer, you will lead the technical development of data repositories across various council services. Key responsibilities include delivering production-level SQL code, handling multiple data sources, adapting to changing deadlines, and providing technical support to colleagues within the wider data team. Strong problem-solving skills will be essential for success in this role. With the Council undergoing significant transformation, this is an excellent opportunity to shape and enhance our future reporting infrastructure, ensuring data is at the heart of decision-making.
