Key responsibilities include resolving manager and employee requests efficiently, proposing methods to simplify, and standardize People Services and leveraging technologies that promote automation and digitalization. The role reports to the People Service Lead and involves working closely with the HR Business Partners. Additionally, the role also contributes actively to or manages shared initiatives / projects together with other members of the HR Operations team and/or the HR Country Lead as applicable. This role will be ideally based in Frankfurt. Munich can be also considered. What you will do Day to day operational activities · Be accountable and serve as the daily contact for employees and managers regarding HR inquiries (e.g., onboarding, payroll, absences, contractual changes, benefits, policies, procedures) · Continuously optimize, implement, and simplify HR processes within People Services · Responsible for the timely and correct processing of all employee data relevant for payroll accounting to the payroll provider for your area of responsibility Talent Acquisition · Prepare offers and related documentation in collaboration with HR Business Partners and issue them to candidates · Support onboarding activities as needed Rewards & Mobility · Administer and advise on benefits including employee shares, group insurance & pensions, maternity, time recording, Employee Assistance Program, company bikes, etc. · Proactively align planned changes on benefits with the People Services Lead, Product House “Rewards” and HR Country Lead as needed · Be the interface to the relocation provider as well as main contact for visa related questions Employee Data Management · Independently process and complete all administrative tasks arising in the employee life cycle, particularly document creation and filing in the electronic personnel file · Validate, maintain, quality-assure, and update employee records and status if not performed via HR self-service · Track and chase documentation, perform completeness checks, update employee contracts & working schedules as well as personal and work data, inform relevant parties, and electronically archive documents, etc. HR Compliance · Collaborate with other HR functions and stay informed about changes to policies and global processes to ensure that employees and managers receive accurate advice and assist with the implementation of programs, policies, and services · Stay informed about changes in employment legislation, taxation, and best practices · Review and update all People Services processes annually · Maintain the confidentiality and completeness of employee personnel records and files in accordance with data privacy, data security and other legal requirements and best practices ensuring compliance with GDPR rules Change Ambassador · Support or lead small and mid-size projects to drive innovation and change within the People Services area What you bring · Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field (essential) and 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist · Excellent digital literacy; proficient in SAP HCM, SuccessFactors and Microsoft Office Suite · Deep understanding of general human resources policies and procedures · Good knowledge of German employment/labour laws · High degree of process orientation and HR administration skills · Aptitude in problem-solving · Desire to work as part of a team with a results-driven approach · Excellent communication and people skills · Fluency in German both written and spoken is mandatory · Experience in Asset Management industry is desirable What we offer · Flexible working from home and abroad according to internal guidelines (hybrid model/ flexible working hours/cross-border remote work) · Access to pension/ savings plans/ Allianz products · Family support (relocation/ childcare facilities) · Company share purchasing plan · Mental health and wellbeing programs · Mobility solutions (Jobrad bike leasing, subvention Jobticket) · Career opportunities within the entire Allianz Group · Self-guided learning & development · … and so much more!
