The role will work within the Business Development team, as well as with the rest of the team and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that ensure the successful operation of products and digital content services on a daily basis, as well as supporting the drive for new business. The successful candidate will have some experience or a significant interest in digital marketing; full training will be given. They will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business development and support tasks including product testing, developing new business opportunities, and the creation of new services and products.
With hours of work consisting of 09:00-17:30pm Monday to Friday, offering a salary of £25,000 per annum. This role offers Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home after a successful training/probationary period.
Duties of the role (training will be provided):
1. Supporting the Business Development team in delivering various projects. Researching and identifying marketing opportunities to assist the company in meeting its objectives.
2. Preparing and delivering product presentations.
3. Product and consumer user experience testing.
4. Market research and competitor analysis.
5. Affiliate marketing – assisting in research for advertising partners to drive sales.
6. Learning how to launch a new line of business. Negotiating contractual terms and looking after the partner onboarding process.
7. Updating websites, terms and conditions, and other service supporting documentation as needed to meet the various market regulations.
8. Studying and understanding market and network regulations in order to produce compliant promotional material.
9. Forecasting – building service financial projections for existing and new services.
10. Documenting processes to support the numerous roles undertaken in the team.
Skills required:
1. Microsoft Office applications – Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for communication and presentation purposes.
2. Good understanding of project management and digital marketing.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication.
4. Accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Organisation and planning.
6. Knowledge of Photoshop will be a plus but it’s not essential.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills.
8. Good team working skills.
9. Highly organised, being able to manage complex schedules and multitask.
10. Can-do attitude. You must take pride in completing a task to set deadlines.
11. Punctuality and strong work ethos.
