An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a prestigious luxury hotel close to Leeds. This role offers the chance to work in a fine dining environment, delivering exceptional cuisine in both the restaurant and banqueting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
* Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in line with the hotels standards.
* Assist in menu development, showcasing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
* Lead and inspire the team to deliver outstanding dining experiences for both restaurant and banqueting guests.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef preferably within a luxury hotel.
* Rosette experience is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of banqueting and restaurant service.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* A passion for delivering exceptional cuisine and mentoring junior chefs.
