The role
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing various human resource functions, including recruitment, resourcing, benefits, performance management, employee relations and compliance. This role requires a proactive and people-focused approach to support company objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing all resourcing requests and using Artefact’s in-house resourcing software to track all resourcing activities.
* Managing all bench activity and keeping bench resources engaged and appraised of current and future work.
* Managing the end-to-end recruitment of junior to mid level roles - including advertising, screening and interviewing, delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
* Building brand awareness and managing recruitment campaigns through the website, events, social media and other platforms.
* Facilitating the use of associates on projects: sourcing, contracting (including IR35 management), onboarding and offboarding.
* Collaborating with hiring managers and Head of HR to deliver a strong pipeline of candidates against the company’s strategy and budget.
* Provide recruitment management information for the leadership team including number of open roles, filled roles, active candidates, time to hire.
* Managing all employee benefit schemes including insurances, visas, wellbeing allowances.
* Maintain employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
* Assisting in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.
* Maintain HR Metrics and generate reports for decision-making.
* Support performance appraisal process and performance management.
* Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Self-starter who can manage their own workload and take a proactive approach to their work. You must be able to work independently, with a good understanding of when to seek help and escalate
* First-rate communicator who can build relationships with colleagues quickly, influence through collaboration and deal with all levels from exec members to junior staff
* Ability to quickly understand the business needs in order to build trust and credibility and deliver the best talent solutions
* Above all, culture fit is crucial. You will need to have a positive, friendly and flexible attitude and thrive in working in a fluid and ever-changing ambitious environment
* Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
* 4+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role, ideally within a technology, agency or creative environment
* Recruitment experience, ideally for digital marketing and/or technology roles.
