You will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and play a key role in supervising and developing junior members of our brigade. You will ensure the highest standards of food preparation and delivery, as well as effective communication across all sections of the kitchen. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Prepare ingredients and maintain all workspaces, ensuring compliant handling of all baking and other kitchen equipment. Capability of providing support to all four areas of the kitchen, providing guidance to all staff. Ensure mise-en-place is always freshly prepared. Follow recipes and assist with the development of new menu offerings. Be creative and express ideas. Ensure all ingredients and equipment required is readily available. Handle ingredients and equipment with care. Adhere to health and safety protocols. Including excellent knowledge of food handling and hygiene. Supporting the development of Chef Apprentices and junior staff. About you: Experience in a Michelin Star Restaurant as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role is required. You must have the drive and confidence to work as part of a fast and efficient team. Passion towards working with quality ingredients and always deliver on guest satisfaction is essential.
