We are supporting a growing company who are looking for a Sales Executive to be based in their Basildon office, working Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm (with a one-hour unpaid lunch). The salary is up to £40,000 depending on your experience, with a £5,000 annual car allowance. This will be a remote position with the ability to work flexibly, including some office attendance, so you must be within a commutable distance to Basildon.
You must hold a full UK driving license with full access to a vehicle as you will be required to frequently travel across several regions. You will also receive a competitive bonus structure based on targets and company growth.
Duties will include:
Proactively identifying new business opportunities
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and overseas clients/agents
Utilise your sales and communication skills to influence and negotiate
Liaise and build rapport with existing clients & follow up of prospective customers
Represent the company professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
Track & manage the CRM system
Demonstrate a proven ability to develop and enhance client portfoliosTo be successful you must be a skilled sales individual with the ability to focus and work proactively to achieve targets, ideally with a good understanding of logistics processes and procedures.
