JBT currently has a great opportunity for a HR Generalist to join the Proseal team just south of Manchester.
Proseal UK Ltd designs and manufactures high-quality tray sealing and conveying systems for the food industry, with manufacturing facilities in the UK, North America, and Australia. Established for 25 years, demand for Proseal products is growing, and we are developing many plastic-based alternatives for preserving the life of and carrying food safely. Proseal has become the leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery and tooling in the UK and is recognized internationally.
The Opportunity
Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
* Managing starters, leavers, and adjustments in our systems.
* Inputting changes for payroll and liaising with Payroll to ensure monthly pay information is captured and processed ready for HRM/HRBPs final check.
* Establishing and maintaining good relationships between employers and employees.
* Supporting the onboarding of successful candidates, including contractual documentation, Right to Work verification, and inductions.
* Providing accurate and timely guidance and advice to supervisors and managers, ensuring it aligns with Company policies and procedures.
* Supporting managers on HR issues.
* Being an ambassador for company policies, procedures, and values.
* Acting as support for our HR Manager and HR Business Partners, managing day-to-day HR administration and first-line HR issues, ensuring compliance with HR policies and best practices.
* Recruitment will be a key part of your role; you will be the first point of contact for candidates, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, shortlisting, and preparing interviews.
