Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large food manufacturer as part of a well-structured sales team delivering to current customers as well as developing new sales calls.
The role requires working as a van sales representative based from the company's location in Derry/Londonderry but with scope to use own initiative and strong influencing skills to sell the company's range of food products. It requires a person with strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain relationships with current customers and develop relationships with new customers.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
1. Proven track record working as a van sales representative
2. Achieve agreed sales targets and customer call rates consistent with the run schedule.
3. Present, promote and sell current range of products and introduce new lines to customers on an ongoing basis
4. Expedite the resolution of customers' problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
5. Maintain full stock control of vehicle & depot.
6. Report customers' needs, competitors' activities and potential new products to the Sales Manager.

Qualification and experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years experience in sales.
2. Minimum full clean B driving licence.
3. Previous experience in use of handheld sales devices.
Salary in the range of £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start for the right candidate.
