At Select Hospitality Cambridge, we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Pastry Chef for an award-winning spa hotel near Northampton.
My client is an award-winning restaurant & hotel with a very loyal local following complemented by a great passing tourist trade. You will be cooking some of the finest patisserie, desserts, and breads in the area using state-of-the-art equipment and the freshest local ingredients in a purpose-built pastry kitchen.
My client rewards quality and standards over GPs, meaning that every product leaves the kitchen in perfect condition and every guest is satisfied.
You will be responsible with your team for the pastry, breads, and desserts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, alongside a growing and popular afternoon tea trade. Every day will be different, providing a great opportunity to join if you enjoy a varied day-to-day operation.
As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to train, coach, mentor, and impart your skills and knowledge on the junior team.
The ideal candidate will come from a high standards pastry background with the knowledge and ability to cater to high volumes and standards.
This is a great role for a candidate who enjoys a varied and rewarding job, working a daytime contract with great flexibility regarding weekends. My client is offering a great salary of up to £38,000 plus tips, as well as a great pension, training, and development.
