Whilst this role will predominantly be Restaurant/Banquet focussed you will be expected to deputise in the Head Chefs absence, as well as take on other duties around the Kitchen. Responsibilities: Assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day kitchen operations Helping to drive service at the highest level Ensuring consistent quality standards is maintained Training Junior members of the team At all times ensuring that the highest standards are consistently met. Assisting the Head Chef in implementation of COSHH and Health & Safety rules Maintain a consistently smooth-running operation. Continuously check food quality and presentation coming from the kitchen Requirements: Be an experienced Sous Chef who has been used to working in hotels. Familiar with financial reporting, budgeting and labour productivity. Experience with training, coaching, and strong leadership skills Outstanding work ethic Guest-focused and service-driven.
