About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for conducting NDT Eddy Current inspections, ensuring adherence to the company's high-quality standards.
Your tasks will include setting up and standardizing equipment, processing parts, interpreting and evaluating results for acceptance or rejection, and documenting findings.
You will also be expected to develop work instructions from approved general procedures and provide guidance and supervision to trainees and level I personnel.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting systems performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards;
* Providing necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and level I personnel;
* Developing work instructions from approved general procedures;
* Using knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology;
You will be a mentor and trainer for coworkers assigned to you, providing on-the-job training in safe work practices, technical skills, and compliance with company policy.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Level 2 qualification in Eddy Current;
* Experience working towards EN4179;
* Desirable experience working within Aerospace;
The estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
