Job Description
JDP are growing our external sales team and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, results-driven, experienced Sales Executive to join our field sales team in the Yorkshire/East Midlands Area. If you are able to demonstrate a proven track record within an external sales role, ideally within the civil and drainage industry, then we strongly encourage you to apply.
In this role as an External Sales Executive, the position demands a professional sales manner and the ability to maintain and grow our existing customer base as well as identifying new business potential. Some of the duties involve:
1. Managing medium spend accounts as well as validating sales leads throughout your area
2. Opening new accounts and growing existing accounts
3. Introducing key initiative products
4. Validation of prospects
5. Delivering excellent customer service and communication
Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience of the civil and drainage industry
* Experience of our products is essential
* Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
* Enthusiastic and professional manner
* Attention to detail
* Able to work using your own initiative within a demanding, target-driven environment
* A current full UK driving licence
* Good knowledge of computer programs and CRM systems
