Our client, a well-established freight forwarding company based in Felixstowe are looking for a Freight Sales Executive to join their team. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Focus and drive to achieve targets Identify sales opportunities whilst profiling all new businesses to understand intricately how the business can support with freight / customs Represent the company in the best possible light with internal and external stakeholders Proactively scope new business opportunities Track and manage the CRM system, ensuring ongoing liaison with existing clients and follow up of prospective customers Demonstrate a track record of developing and enhancing current client portfolios Liaise with customers, suppliers, and overseas agents Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge Display excellent communication skills that include the ability to influence and negotiate where required Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in freight sales, logistics, or a related industry is preferred Strong understanding of the freight and logistics sector, including shipping methods, pricing, and regulations Proven ability to generate new business and close sales Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite In return, you will receive a generous benefits package including 25 days holiday BH, commission scheme, car allowance, gym contribution and mobile phone contribution as well as fun company events and the opportunity to work for a close-knit friendly team who support the wellbeing of their employees
