Job Description
In summer 2025, we will open our second hotel in London in the immediate vicinity of Old Street. With its 237 rooms and a unique design adapted to the flair of the neighbourhood, it will welcome guests from all over the world. Be part of it from the very beginning and open Motel One London-Shoreditch together with us as Hotel Manager!
Together with your team, you will create a home away from home for our guests. When managing the hotel, your focus will be the well-being of our guests and employees. Your duties will also include the following:
* Recruiting new staff, as well as managing, motivating and training your team
* Organising, coordinating and supervising all operational and administrative departments
* Organising all departments, as well as upholding and implementing the defined Motel One standards
* Maintaining and improving customer and guest satisfaction, as well as helping to acquire new customers and guests
* Achieving sales targets and remaining within budget
* Preparing weekly, monthly and annual statements

Qualifications
Do you have a great personality and excellent hosting skills? Then you will fit in here! Because these are our priority. You will also:
* Have completed a hotel management apprenticeship and/or degree and have experience in comparable roles in the hotel industry
* Have an entrepreneurial spirit, organisational skills and the ability to assert yourself
* Enjoy developing employees – management experience is beneficial
* Have excellent social skills, be open and communicative and have a solid command of English
* Have hosting skills and a passion for the hotel industry, as well as an excellent sense of quality and service
* Have a hands-on approach and the ability to work in a team – we achieve our results together
