We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected legal and tax planning firm for a Records Management Assistant to join their Office Services team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established firm that provides expert legal and financial services to a wide range of clients, including business people, entrepreneurs, landowners and charities.
What you'll do
* Managing requests for files, deeds, and documents currently in storage or being sent to storage
* Entering documents into internal systems and coordinating off-site storage with Iron Mountain
* Scanning Wills, Powers of Attorney, and other deeds as required
* Assisting with deliveries and pickups within the office
* Processing the return of files and documents from external storage providers
* Conducting file reviews in compliance with the Firm’s File Retention Policy
What you'll need
* Previous experience in a similar role
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; full training on the Firm’s systems will be provided
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
