Job Description
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you are responsible for defining and executing the TA strategy and plan for a number of business areas, ensuring company goals short and long term are consistently met. You will lead and inspire a team of 2 specialist Recruiters and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
You'll work closely with the Employer Brand and Attraction Manager on targeted content and campaigns for your business areas, to ensure the ASOS Employer Brand becomes more recognised and continually gains brand equity across the globe. It goes without saying that you’ll already be an expert in TA across its entire lifecycle – from needs definition, sourcing, assessment, through to offer and onboarding with strong technical and market knowledge. Key responsibilities include:
1. Overall responsibility for end to end Talent Acquisition strategy and plan for Corporate Affairs and Supply Chain areas, ensuring business needs both short and longer term are met.
2. Leading a team of 2 specialist Recruiters - leading, coaching and developing the team to ensure high performance and motivation.
3. Hands-on delivery for specialist and/or senior level hires - typically managing 5-8 searches at any time.
4. Managing and developing strong stakeholder relationships and networks.
5. Defining, leading and implementing Talent projects from concept through to working solutions, always maintaining a continuous improvement mindset in everything we do.
6. Developing sourcing strategies and building strong talent pipelines, based on market intelligence and identified skills gaps.
7. Working in partnership with other areas of the People Team to provide guidance on talent strategies.
8. Promoting new & innovative ways to improve recruitment processes that meet growing demands, including the application of AI and other relevant tech.
9. Working with the Employer Brand and Attraction Manager to bring the ASOS employer brand to life, harnessing employee advocacy for reach and further building brand equity.
10. Partnering with and educating stakeholders on the importance of hiring, ensuring that they play an active role in talent acquisition by equipping and partnering with them.
11. Producing meaningful and informative recruitment data and insights to enable workforce planning and decision making.
Qualifications
1. An excellent track record in Talent Acquisition within a fast-paced business.
2. In-depth understanding of the recruitment landscape in Corporate Services and Supply Chain areas (Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR, Strategy, Comms, Supply Chain) including previous experience in hiring & scaling teams.
3. Experience of tapping into Talent Communities, accessing and leveraging hidden talent for critical skill areas.
4. Keen interest and advocacy for Diversity & Inclusion; evidenced experience in sourcing and attracting diverse talent.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use relevant data and market insights to inform commercial decisions.
6. An ability to lead and manage self and others through change, showing resilience and self-reliance.
7. Keeps abreast of new developments, technology and innovation in Talent Acquisition.
8. Builds and maintains strong connections across all parts of the business, consistently collaborating and building strong relationships.
9. Comfortable presenting in any forum and confident to handle associated challenges.
10. Demonstrates a growth mindset and an appetite for self-development.
11. Experience of using ATS (ideally Workday or SmartRecruiters) and assessment technology.
