Overview:
Our client is looking for a driven and resilient Junior Sales Executive to join their dynamic sales team based in Darlington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong desire to develop a career in sales, starting with cold calling and progressing to managing repeat business as relationships grow. The ideal candidate will be confident on the phone, highly motivated, and able to handle rejection with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Cold Calling & Lead Generation:
1. Make outbound calls to potential clients, introducing our services/products and generating new business opportunities.
2. Develop a pipeline of new prospects through cold calling and initial outreach.
3. Qualify leads based on specific criteria and pass them on to the appropriate team members for further follow-up.
Customer Relationship Building:
1. Build rapport with new clients and continue to nurture relationships to generate repeat business.
2. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions while offering excellent customer service.
Sales Target Achievement:
1. Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly targets for cold calls, appointments, and conversions.
2. Track and document all interactions with prospects and clients in the CRM system.
Product Knowledge:
1. Develop a strong understanding of our products/services to confidently answer customer questions and overcome objections during calls.
2. Stay updated on product features, benefits, and any changes in the industry to better serve clients.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
1. Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and alignment on business goals.
2. Provide feedback on customer responses and objections to help refine the sales approach.
Resilience & Persistence:
1. Demonstrate a resilient attitude when dealing with rejection and remain motivated to achieve sales goals.
2. Be adaptable to feedback and continuously improve your sales techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
