The Knowledge and Training Manager will lead the creation and delivery of high-quality video courses and in-person instruction to empower customers, partners, and internal teams with the skills and knowledge to maximise the value of our products and services. This role is pivotal in driving product adoption and success by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support. The ideal candidate will shape and expand the training function, ensuring the delivery of engaging, impactful, and scalable learning experiences. Responsibilities: Team Leadership Manage and grow a team of instructors and content creators. Define the team's vision, mission, and objectives to align with organizational goals. Curriculum Development Design and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum and certification program, incorporating diverse resources. Create engaging and interactive training formats, including video courses and live instruction, tailored to a range of audiences. Learning Management Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure an efficient and user-friendly experience. Shape and manage the online training portal, Cato Academy, as the go-to hub for learning resources. Content Creation Develop a wide array of training materials, such as user guides, manuals, presentations, and supporting documentation. Leverage feedback and collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to align content with audience needs. Knowledge Sharing & Events Plan and host knowledge-sharing events for internal and external audiences. Communicate training schedules, updates, and program details effectively to all stakeholders. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Stay current with the latest trends in instructional design and e-learning technologies. Gather feedback and analyze training effectiveness using assessments and evaluations, making data-driven improvements. Reporting & Metrics Monitor and track training completion rates and program effectiveness. Provide regular reports to management with insights into participant feedback and training performance metrics. Requirements: Proven management experience with a track record of team leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering eLearning, video courses, and in-person instruction, preferably for SaaS products. Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and e-learning technologies. Proficiency in using video editing software and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse learners.
