We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our exceptional sales team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to build and expand direct client relationships while driving commercial revenue across our prestigious print, events, and digital platforms.
In this role, you will be responsible for growing revenue across Spear’s print and digital portfolio, with a strong focus on our flagship quarterly publication and signature events. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding business that is a leader in its field in the UK, with growing ambitions in the Middle East.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Senior Sales Executive will:
* Cultivate and expand direct client relationships, with a strong focus on revenue generation across Spear’s print, digital, and event offerings.
* Proactively generate new business through targeted prospecting, using multiple channels such as cold calling, networking, and social media.
* Develop and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets.
* Build relationships with senior-level decision-makers, C-level executives, and key stakeholders across the luxury and financial sectors.
* Present Spear’s portfolio to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value proposition of our magazine, events, and digital platforms.
* Work independently and manage accounts effectively, maintaining regular contact with clients and ensuring the highest level of service.
* Monitor and update the CRM (Salesforce) to ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and sales performance.
Skills and experience
* Extensive experience in sales within luxury media, with a proven track record in print, digital, and events sales (preferred 5+ years).
* Strong background in developing new business, managing the sales process, and securing high-value contracts.
* Excellent networking skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with senior executives, decision-makers, and HNW clients.
* Exceptional time-management and organisational skills, able to work remotely and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Comfortable with a variety of communication methods including virtual meetings (Zoom/Teams), phone, and in-person presentations.
* Highly motivated, self-driven, and target-focused, with a competitive edge and a strong desire to exceed sales targets.
* Expertise in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to track and optimise sales activities, client interactions, and revenue performance.
* Confident, professional, and articulate, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* A team player who can also work independently and take initiative to drive business growth.
