Fire Alarm Tester - Gravesend & Surrounding
FAFS Fire & Security is seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire Alarm Tester to join our team. Our company is committed to providing top-notch fire detection, protection, and alarm systems, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' systems.
Basic Salary – £25,400 per annum subject to experience

Responsibilities of the Fire Alarm Tester
* Conduct regular testing and inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Record and document test results accurately, ensuring that all findings are reported in a timely manner.
* Identify potential issues or malfunctioning components and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their fire alarm systems and any necessary actions.
* Work collaboratively with other members of the technical team to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Stay up to date with the latest fire safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a commitment to safety and quality, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will possess:
* This is a trainee role, however proven experience in testing fire alarm systems or a related role would be an advantage
* Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
* Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in fire safety or electrical systems.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
