Fluent Mortgages provide expert advice on a range of mortgage products, whether our customers need a mortgage, secured loan, equity release, bridging finance or an insurance policy – they’ll always speak to a specialist in each area. During 2022, we strengthened our position with Mortgage Advice Bureau, a leading UK mortgage broker network, making a strategic investment to become majority shareholder. With ambitious plans to grow our headcount over double by end of 2025 across our multiple businesses within the Fluent brand (Money, Mortgages, Lifetime and Bridging), you'll be key to the success in attracting high quality talent across both Mortgage Adviser and Head Office recruitment.
About the role
You will oversee all recruitment at Fluent, delivering a cost-effective direct hiring model and managing the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding, moving the talent acquisition model from reactive to proactive. You will embed tools and strategies to attract, assess and hire talent to enable our business to continue growing. Building talent pools aligned to future talent needs, you'll build talent programmes, particularly for Mortgage Adviser recruitment, partnering with the L&D team to ensure new starter experiences through high quality inductions, training and learning and development support. You'll bring external insights and trends to the senior leadership team while developing a strong EVP in partnership with the Marketing team to capture passive candidate markets, building a funnel of potential candidates for future talent needs.
About you
* Experience of leading in-house recruitment or talent acquisition hiring models and processes
* In-depth practical knowledge of application tracking systems (ATS) and social media to develop Fluent Money brand awareness to prospective candidates
* Knowledge of the latest latest market and recruitment industry knowledge, EVP trends and employer branding strategies
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Strong coaching and influencing skills
* Strong presentation skills
