We are seeking a proactive and innovative Learning and Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing employee performance through effective training programmes and development initiatives.
This is a new role for the business, and you will be responsible for driving KPI’s through initiatives you design and implement.
We are looking for an individual who can travel to Bolton on a regular basis and various sites across the UK to both build relationships with the operational teams and at times deliver key training.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
* Designing and implement a L&D Strategy with the support of the HR team.
* Design and implement a new manager induction program to set managers up for success.
* Review the L&D offering to ensure its fit for purpose and is regularly reviewed to align with the business needs. Developing products further to ensure they’re interactive and engaging.
* Design and implement leadership programmes for all levels of the business ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering a pipeline of talent
* Design and implement training materials for managers to utilise with colleagues.
* Develop comprehensive skills matrix to deliver job role skills & knowledge.
* Stay updated with the latest trends in L&D to bring innovative practices to the organization
Qualifications / Experience:
* Experience within a training delivery role or an operational environment at the front line.
* A training qualification is highly advantageous.
* Design of leadership programmes.
* Experience of delivering management, leadership and personal development programmes.
* Track record of achieving targets and KPI’s.
* Experienced in reporting to senior management.
* Designing multi-faceted learning programmes e.g. webinars, face to face, e-learning etc.
Skills:
* A self-starter with a passion for people development.
* Excellent facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
* Strong knowledge of digital learning tools and platforms.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse teams.
* Ability to design engaging and interactive training sessions.
* Creativity and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
