Main duties include:
* Work 40-hour week, shifts over 5 days in 7.
* Ensure accurate preparation and service of dishes on hotel menus.
* Prepare and present dishes according to customer requirements.
* Maintain mise en place in allocated area to meet forecasted demand.
* Record temperature checks on food and in storage areas.
* Assist in training and supervising junior chefs.
* Contribute to quality control and menu planning.
* Aware of product cost and kitchen gross profit targets.
* Assist with ordering food materials and maintaining food safety regulations.
