Due to continued success, our highly successful, global manufacturing Client wishes to recruit a strong People / HR generalist for their site in Dublin West/Dublin 22.
Supporting Ireland’s People Business Partner, this is an excellent stand-alone People/HR Generalist opportunity, supporting a headcount of circa 100 on site, and working as part of the wider HR team based across 3 sites in ROI and NI.
Our Client is an impressive leader in their market and the successful HR Generalist will be the key point of contact at site, providing support and an effective all-round HR service for managers and operational teams. Key activities include recruitment, training, employee relations management and advice.
The People/HR Generalist will have a solid HR Officer/Advisory/Generalist background with experience working within a fast-paced, busy production-led or multi-site environment.
The role offers a great salary and, following training, there is the option to work 2 days from home.
The Role
* Support the People Business Partner with the delivery of the people plan
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
* Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and best practices
* Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues, mediate conflicts and implement solutions
* Administer recruitment processes – advertising, liaising with agencies where appropriate
* Provide high quality support and administration support for all activities within the employee lifecycle e.g., onboardings, changes, terminations etc.
* Management of sickness absence, attrition reporting
* Deliver training and employee wellbeing initiatives
* Update and maintain HR records and the HR system
The Person
* 3rd Level qualification
* Minimum of 2-3 years previous experience at a HR Officer/Generalist level
* ROI labour law experience, essential
* Experience working within a busy manufacturing/logistics/production/blue collar environment would be an advantage
* Strong organisational skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
