Job Description
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team at Benugo Bar & Kitchen at Warwick Arts Centre - immediate start!
Rate: £34,500 pa
Contract: 45 hours/Permanent
Shifts: 5 days per week, including weekends.
Morning shifts start at 10am and evening shifts end
About the Sous Chef role:
1. Food preparation, stock rotation and food labelling
2. General cleaning duties
3. Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all time
4. To be able to work well under pressure to a high standard. During events at the Arts Centre, we are a very busy establishment
5. To ably assist & deputise for the Head Chef in his absence
6. Stock reconciliation & ordering
7. Good understanding of allergens and risk of cross contamination
8. Good adherence to recipe cards
9. The ability to work well as part of a team and to organise & motivate in Head Chef's absence
Next term dates are:
Summer term - Ends 29 June 2024
Autumn term - 19 September 2024 to 7 December 2024
Spring term - 6 January 2025 to 15 March 2025
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Chef de Partie within a fast-paced, high volume kitchen.
