Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Colleague Head Chef here at Fairmont St Andrews. You will ensure the smooth running of the Staff Canteen and ensure that all areas of the canteen maintain the Fairmont St Andrews standards.
This is a Monday-Friday role, 9:00am to 5:30pm
A little about what you will be doing:
1. Plan menus and test samples
2. Run the section smoothly and efficiently
3. Provide clear instructions to the junior team members
4. Cook any food on a daily basis according to requirements
5. Ensure all staff meals are prepared and served to the highest standard
6. To check on a daily basis food preparation regarding portion control, size, quantity and quality as laid down in the receipt index
7. During service periods, to personally run the food counter when needed and make sure that the presentation, as well as quality of the food, is correct and in accordance with the established standards
Qualifications
8. Experience in a Similar role
9. Ability to maintain good employee relations
10. Eligible to work in the UK
