Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager (14 Month FTC) A little bit about our team: The People team sits at the heart of Warner Music Group and is focused on attracting, retaining and developing exceptional people. The team designs, implements and facilitates HR programs around Recruitment, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits and HR Processes & Policies. Our team also partners with the business to support key organisational initiatives. As part of the People team, Talent Acquisition team is responsible for finding and hiring the best talent for the business, and partnering with our business leaders on their people strategies. Your role: As part of the global Talent Acquisition team, you will lead on all aspects of recruitment activities in the UK at both an operational and strategic level, ensuring best in class recruitment practices are employed, and WMG is attracting, engaging and hiring outstanding talent. You will also have the opportunity to lead on an international recruitment project, partnering with global teams to hire top talent across multiple geographies. You will partner with the broader People Team, on a wide variety of strategic initiatives, helping to drive at both a local and international level. You will also be responsible for managing the workload and development of a team of 2, providing guidance, support and development opportunities. Here you’ll get to: Act as trusted advisor to Hiring Managers and senior leadership, sharing best practice and strategic insights to inform recruitment approach Partner with Hiring Managers to develop and execute targeted search strategies to identify top talent in response to live briefs as well as pipelining for future requirements Support in crafting engaging job descriptions and adverts Based on detailed knowledge of recruitment landscape and market trends, identify the most effective channels for engaging and sourcing new talent across the full spectrum of levels and functions Oversee workload and progress of your team, through regular 1:1s, acting as mentor and providing development opportunities Advocate for WMG and proactively promote employer brand, through creation of engaging online content, and participation in events Working with the SVP, Talent Acquisition and international TA team, create and implement initiatives that build and maintain a first-class candidate experience Support international territories with recruitment needs; sharing best practice and support with utilizing central recruitment tools and technology Support Hiring Managers with Assessment and Selection through ongoing partnership and education, sharing relevant insights and best practice and attending interviews where necessary Manage relationships with relevant vendors and suppliers including recruitment agencies, job boards and apprenticeship training providers; negotiating terms, agreeing SLAs and ensuring service levels are adhered to Work closely with People Technology team to assess new Workday functionality and deploy system improvements that support team roadmap and goals, this includes defining requirements and considerable testing efforts Responsible for submitting and handling UK recruitment budget, ensuring yearly return on investment About you: Significant in-house recruitment experience, ideally at a media or creative organization Ability to operate at both a hands-on and strategic level Experience of partnering with senior management in an advisory capacity Ability to manage high volume of open vacancies as well as multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously Understanding of emerging recruitment trends and technology with an appetite to innovate Experience managing and developing people, providing mentorship and development opportunities Track record of attracting and sourcing candidates through direct channels Experience of managing vendors and suppliers, including recruitment agencies, with experience of negotiating T&Cs and establishing SLAs Experience managing a recruitment budget with ability to think commercially and use cost effective methods to achieve maximum results Proficiency in the use of data & analytics to drive process improvements and inform strategy Experience partnering internationally, with a global approach to recruitment, projects and new initiatives Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to gain credibility and influence at all levels Ability to thrive and innovate in a fast-paced and ever changing environment Willingness to undertake administrative tasks such as interview scheduling, chasing POs etc We’d love it if you also had: Previous experience using Workday and deploying new system improvements Experience using Google Suite Significant experience recruiting across Marketing and related functions As the home to 10K Projects, Asylum, Atlantic Music Group, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world’s premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike.
