We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to become a valuable member of our vibrant school community in the heart of Camden, starting in April. Responsibilities
1. Teach and deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons to students.
2. Develop and implement appropriate lesson plans and teaching strategies.
3. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students.
4. Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their performances.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school productions and events.
6. Monitor student progress and provide support for their individual needs.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and achievements.
Minimum Requirements
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
2. A degree in drama or a related field.
3. Proven experience teaching drama to students of various ages and abilities.
4. Excellent knowledge of drama teaching methodologies and techniques.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
7. High level of organization and attention to detail.
8. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
9. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
